The Wheel of Time – S01E08 – The Eye of the World | Transcript

For twenty years, Moiraine has dreamed and worked towards this moment. But she can't stop the Dragon Reborn from seeing the appeal of the Dark.
The Wheel of Time - S01E08 - The Eye of the World

Original release date: December 24, 2021

3000 years ago, in a futuristic society, the Tamyrlin Seat warns Lews Therin Telamon of the dangers of his plan to imprison the Dark One. In Fal Dara, Nynaeve tells Lan how to track Moiraine. Fal Dara is attacked by thousands of Trollocs. In the Blight, Moiraine gives Rand a sa’angreal, an ancient object to enhance his power to defeat the Dark One. At the Eye, Rand sees a vision of him and Egwene starting a family, which the Dark One tells him can come to fruition if he gives his power to the Shadow. Dark One cuts Moiraine’s connection to the One Power. As the army falls, the women channel against the attack and succeed, but burn from excessive channelling. Nynaeve sacrifices herself to save Egwene, who then heals Nynaeve. Perrin uncovers the Horn of Valere, for the Dragon to summon the greatest warriors. Padan Fain steals it, revealing he was a Darkfriend who visited the Two Rivers to find the five ta’veren, focal points of fate. He expects some or all of ta’veren to join the Dark. Rand chooses the real Egwene, hitting the Dark One with the sa’angreal and fracturing the unbreakable symbol he stood upon. Fearing madness, he goes into hiding. Lan finds Moiraine, who tells him that this was not the Last Battle. In the west, great exotic ships arrive, channelling powerful waves.

So, that’s it then?

It’s you who breaks us.

You can’t stop me.
