[narrator] Time has passed since the battle on Bibin.

Having escaped Juro’s army, Nawaam has expanded his influence and power as he continues to gain territories across the galaxy.

After losing Juro, the hobbled Jedi move from place to place, fighting a guerrilla war against Nawaam’s army.

But enemy probe droids are everywhere, intercepting communications and forcing the Jedi further and further into a disadvantageous position.

Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Lah Kara, who witnessed her Master Juro get cut down by Nawaam, remains unknown.

[♪ theme music playing]

[lightsabers crackling]

[Gennoh grunts]

[lightsaber buzzing]

[Gennoh grunts]

[thuds] [Gennoh groans]

[both grunt]

[straining]

[metallic creaking] [grunts]

[groans, grunts]

[thuds] [groaning]

[Gennoh] Wait!

Zhima.

[echoing]

[low rumbling]

[digital beeping]

[droid whirring]

[beeping, whirring]

[liquid burbling]

[grunts] [whirring]

[Gennoh] Where’s Lord Nawaam?

[faint beeping]

[beeping stops]

[mechanical footsteps approaching]

[beeping, whirring]

[Gennoh] Lord Nawaam.

Greetings, Lord Gennoh.

I’m pleased to hear your voice again.

Are there any problems with the body I provided you?

[Gennoh] I thank you for your care.

I now must make up for my failure and disgrace by capturing Zhima, who managed to escape.

[Nawaam] There’s no need for that.

He is no longer necessary for us to fulfill our plans.

[Gennoh] What? [grunts]

But without him, won’t the kyber cannon remain incomplete?

[sighs] Even from here, I am able to feel your rage.

[Gennoh gasps]

[Nawaam] Right now, it’s imperative that we suppress the rebellious elements that still plague our galaxy.

Besides, the kyber crystal cannon is on the verge of completion.

[lightsaber crackling]

[thuds]

It should be fully operational once I return from this campaign.

For now, I want you to focus on recovering your strength.

[Gennoh] Understood.

[mechanical footsteps thudding]

[thuds]

[warrior grunting, panting]

Nawaam’s here. [Four-Nines speaks Droid]

[rain pattering]

[speaks alien language]

[in English] Please. Business has been very slow recently.

[both speaking alien language]

[droid beeping]

[indistinct chatter] [thug in English] Listen up!

[people gasp]

Anyone who dares disobey Nawaam’s army shall face the ultimate punishment.

If you or anyone has information about these troublemakers, report it to us!

If you do not, you and your families will suffer the consequences!

Do not fall for the lies perpetuated by these rebel scum.

And do not forget that your peace depends upon the protection we provide you.

[grunts]

[Homen panting]

[panting]

[gun cocking]

[sighs]

[Kwana] I see.

And there’s still no response from Dunbai?

Oh, how did it go?

[Homen] The Jedi hunters are here.

It’s only a matter of time before they find this place.

We have to move.

Tell everyone that we’re leaving immediately.

[sighs] Nawaam again.

Is he planning on chasing us to the ends of the galaxy?

Well, ever since he deployed the probe droids, he’s had eyes and ears in every corner of the galaxy.

I heard he even overthrew General Shozan.

Single-handedly.

Huh? [people gasping]

General Shozan was defeated?

Seriously? I can’t believe it.

Is there no one left who can go up against Nawaam?

[Kwana] Hey! [both gasp]

Stop looking so grim.

Taking out that army on his own was for show.

It was to break our fighting spirit!

Lose heart, and you’ll play right into his hands.

[man] But Kwana… [Kwana] Hmm?

[sighs] We can’t keep running.

At least not forever.

[Kwana gasps] [Homen sighs]

[whirring] [slurps tea]

[footsteps approaching]

[Ethan grunts] Homen. [all gasping]

It’s good to see you.

Good news. We just heard back from the frontier resistance.

They said they would like to join us in our fight.

[Kwana gasps]

Is this the same group you sent the coded message to?

How did you get the Delphidian leader to open up to you?

[chuckles] Not sure.

But I think he agreed to help because it’s rare to see a young Jedi like me in battle.

That’s great!

I hear his army is filled with fierce warriors.

This will be a huge boost to our fighting power.

[chuckles]

There are so many other throughout the galaxy like us, who want to keep on fighting.

Hang in there, and I’ll make sure we find them all.

[all chuckling]

[steam hisses]

What a cheeky kid! Ow!

What? You trying to take all the glory?

We’ve got to find out where Kara is.

There’s been no news or sign of her.

Don’t worry. [Homen gasps]

She’s alive. I can sense it.

She’s out there somewhere.

It’s Kara. She’ll be all right.

[♪ lively music playing]

[birds chirping]

[animals growl]

[fluttering]

[grunts]

Mmm.

[grunts, exclaims]

[both grunting]

[sighs] Hmm?

[♪ enchanting music playing]

[speaking alien language]

[soft thud] [gasps] Huh?

Uh… Huh?

Huh?

[grunts]

[in English] Please do thank your mother for me, Eesha, but I don’t need this much.

So you should save this valuable food for someone else who needs it more.

Okay?

[Eesha exclaims, grunts]

[Kara sighs]

Fine. I guess I’ll eat it all.

[exclaims] [chuckles]

Would you like some, too?

[exclaims, chomping] Okay.

Does this mean you’re not scared of me anymore?

[speaks alien language] [Kara] Oh.

[continues speaking alien language]

[gasps]

[chuckles, in English] Oh, wow.

You can practically say “Kara”.

[Eesha grunts]

No, don’t! [Eesha grunts]

I can give you one if you want.

But in return, you have to become a Jedi so you can protect people.

I wasn’t able to do it.

[snoring]

[snoring continues]

[sighs]

[♪ solemn music playing] [lightsaber buzzing]

[grunting]

[breathing heavily]

[sobbing]

However, their technology does not appear to be well developed.

This whole planet doesn’t even have advanced life forms? [scoffs]

So our informant must have made up the whole story about that starship just to make some extra credits.

[Eht] I wouldn’t be so sure. [captain] Hmm?

[Eht] The child is more cunning than one would expect.

Cutting off contact with her friends and hiding out in an uncharted world is a smart move, if she’s purposefully avoiding our surveillance.

Quite clever, wouldn’t you say?

Do you actually believe that a child could survive alone on a planet like this one?

[Eht] Fair point.

But then again, the Jedi have a bad habit of surviving.

[Bee-Toh] That girl wouldn’t give up or die so easily.

Hmm.

[Eht] Dispatch a squad to search for her and be prepared for her to put up a fight.

Keep in mind, she fought Nawaam and got away.

[gasps]

[panting]

[grunts, gasps]

[Eesha grunts] Eesha, you need to head home now!

[grunts]

It’s Nawaam’s army.

Oh, no. They must have followed me.

[ship whirring] [gasps]

[droid] There is a village of native life forms.

I don’t care. It’s irrelevant. Burn it all to the ground.

Show the Jedi no mercy!

[grunts, pants]

[ship hovering]

[♪ sinister music playing]

[explosions booming]

[panting]

[gasping]

[sobbing]

[exclaiming in panic]

[sobbing]

[Kara grunts]

Eesha!

[grunts] I’ve got you. [Eesha cries]

[exclaims]

[Kara grunts]

[speaks alien language]

[coughing]

[panting]

[sighs]

[sobs, gasps]

[sobbing]

[Eesha grunts]

[grunting continues]

[gasps, sobs]

[grunting continues]

[Kara sobbing] I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry. [sobbing]

You were just trying to protect everyone.

Go head to the river. You’ll be able to escape the flames there.

[grunts] [Kara] One more thing.

[grunts]

I won’t forget your kindness. Thank you.

[grunts]

[distant explosions] [gasps]

[breathing heavily]

[♪ dramatic music playing]

Lord Nawaam, the preparations are complete.

[Gennoh] You have given me a glimpse of the kind of galaxy you’re trying to create.

Where the strong dominate the weak.

That is one of the tenets of a Sith.

I am no Sith, however.

[beeps]

I have an announcement to make.

You have all followed me on my endeavors thus far.

Master Zhima once taught me that in order to defeat a great darkness, one must utilize an even greater power.

Since then, that is the only power that I have sought.

My army, my kyber crystal cannon, all of it is in the name of justice.

I will use this power to finally bring an end to the long era of ongoing war.

As we go down this path, the Force will be with us.

[Gennoh] I still don’t understand you.

Where are your allegiances?

[Nawaam] Show Lord Gennoh what we discovered.

Sir. We’ve determined that the reason the resonator malfunctioned and missed the target was because the collection of small crystals we used was not able to withstand the high energy output for extended periods of time.

For that reason, we have now changed our approach and will instead be using a giant kyber crystal.

Furthermore, this method will not require any fine-tuning.

[Gennoh] But that’s…

It’s Hy Izlan.

Master Zhima’s former hideout and Margrave Juro’s former domain.

Shall we pay them a visit?

Set a course.

[digital beeping]

[soldiers grunt]

[lightsaber buzzing]

Everything is gonna be all right now.

[all grunting]

[speaks alien language, grunts]

[lightsaber buzzing]

[breathing heavily]

[gasps] No. It can’t be!

[grunts, yells]

[Kara gasps]

[breath trembling]

[Kara gasping]

[sobbing]

[exclaims]

[shot fires] [rope snaps]

[aliens exclaim] [Eht] Don’t move.

[Eesha grunting] [alien grunts]

[Eht] You can understand that much, right?

Pity for her.

But at least we now have the saber.

[Bee-Toh] What now?

How do you plan to attack?

[Eht] As per usual.

We’ll use this one as bait.

If you want your little one back, then you will bring us the Jedi girl.

[droid speaking alien language]

[both grunt]

[Bee-Toh] You are a real piece of work, you know that?

[crying]
