Thirteen objects carved from the same material that that thing apparently fell to Earth on.

“Fell to Earth”?
They were buried hundreds of years ago deep underground by the Sqoteawapskot tribe in order to create a sort of… cage around the creature’s territory.
One that runs more or less along the borders of modern-day Derry.
You’re telling me that…
(INHALES) …Derry’s a prison and we’re looking for the bars?
Exactly right, Major.
That kid… is a member of a secret order dedicated to keeping that thing locked up and those pillars hidden.
A job that he and his pals have succeeded at for nearly 400 years.
Until now.
Hallorann flipped through that boy’s mind like it was the morning paper.
Now we know exactly where they are and how to get to them.

FULLER: The objects we’re looking for, thirteen Indian artifacts that the natives refer to as pillars, buried centuries ago and in different locations around Derry, and are now only accessible through the sewers directly beneath that old well.
Major Hanlon and his team will secure the house, find the well, and descend into the sewer system where our guide, Taniel, will lead us through the tunnels to the location of the pillars.
If necessary, with the assistance of Private Hallorann.
