NATO Declares War on Moscow, Beijing, and Trump

The NATO summit, with its expected decisions (another $40 billion for Kiev, to be used in a potential post-war scenario, delivery of air defense systems like our Samp-T, and the arrival of F16s), was, as anticipated, a piece of theatrical warmongering.

The recent NATO summit highlighted a clear push for rearmament and a belligerent stance against Russia and China, revealing a Western agenda to maintain dominance through military means. Despite historical contexts and questionable accusations, the summit underscored a shift towards an offensive alliance aimed at preserving Western hegemony, further aggravated by incoherent policies and a disregard for democratic principles. The alignment of Western powers, including an increasingly submissive Europe, against perceived threats like China, echoes Orwellian doublespeak and disregards rational diplomacy, signaling a perilous future driven by elite interests over human dignity and life.

The NATO summit, with its expected decisions (another $40 billion for Kiev, air defense systems like our Samp-T, and the arrival of F16s), has, as predicted, been a theatrical display of warmongering. It blatantly reveals how Europe and the United States intend to pursue a policy of rearmament and war against Russia and China, accused of threatening the West economically and pursuing their own geostrategic interests. In other words, these two nuclear powers’ historical fault is not accepting the American peace and the de-sovereignization imposed by the West.

Regarding Russia, Condoleezza Rice and current analysts emphasize that Moscow lost the Cold War and must accept the diktats (as Germany and Japan did, not to mention Italy, the losers of World War II). It’s unclear what war China lost, but it’s also undoubtedly guilty. It dared to become our strategic rival economically and, as an independent power, forged relations with the rest of the world, going so far as to acquire industrial assets, ports, and production centers. From a pedestal no longer supported by ancient economic and cultural power but only by weapons, these political dwarfs, who owe their power to their acquiescence to the will of financial and arms oligarchies, preach and moralize to the emerging powers.

China has also become the enemy. Not long ago, there was still a part of the political and academic world trying to distinguish between Beijing and Moscow, acknowledging economic interdependence. But now the crude bellicose and triumphalist language reveals the true nature of an offensive alliance, destined to sow chaos and wars to protect the Western stronghold and the militarization of the dollar. The Europeanization of NATO (rather than a European defense) leaves the eastern frontier to Europe, while the USA and Asian allies will deal with Beijing, now taken head-on. China is the kingdom of evil, like Iran and North Korea. China’s responsibility is to economically and militarily assist Russia. We do the same and more with Kiev, but our positions’ coherence is, as always, incomprehensible. Orwellian language excludes logic and rationality.

Step by step, the rearmament of Europe, reaching 2% of GDP for military spending, the gradual acquiescence to Zelensky’s requests for long-range lethal weapons to strike deep into Russian territory, the continuous reference to NATO troops on the ground as an option to consider, General Cristopher Cavoli’s appeal, head of NATO’s European command, to young people to return to the armies, and finally the realization of needing a war economy, make us feel the abyss into which we have been catapulted. “Not in my name!”: we should all shout this to this unrecognizable Europe, as Marco Travaglio suggests. Do you remember the beginning of the conflict? The few, like myself, who called it a proxy war, NATO against Russia via Ukraine, were contradicted and silenced. The boiled frog tactic finds its most striking confirmation in our ruling classes’ strategy, dragging a slowly boiling public into war.

The best minds of our diplomacy have come forward to support a delirious thesis: in view of Trump‘s probable victory, NATO must make irreversible decisions on economic and military support to Ukraine and its promised entry into the Alliance. Do they think NATO should work against Washington once the presidency becomes Republican? How can educated and experienced diplomats support such insane positions? To what powers does NATO answer for the USA, if not the president? Our Prime Minister Meloni strides beaming between Biden and Zelensky. From Garbatella to the top of the world. It’s easy. Just get elected with an anti-European and anti-Democratic American program, then do the opposite of what was promised. With a minority of votes, the government is violating our Constitution: and they call it democracy.

Indignez-vous! by Stéphane Hessel is tragically current. These elites are willing to sacrifice human life and dignity. Today it is the turn of Ukrainian youths and 14,000 innocent Palestinian children from Gaza. Tomorrow, who?
