Kamala Harris, as the last representative of the Clintonian neoliberal faction within the Democratic Party, will likely lose the upcoming election, symbolizing the end of the Clinton dynasty’s thirty-year influence. Despite being promoted by figures like the Clintons and Pelosi, her tenure and public image have remained shadowed by controversy and accusations of perpetuating an elitist and capitalist agenda that has deepened American social inequalities. Her potential failure will highlight the public’s growing disillusionment with this old, corrupt system, and the inability of financial and media support to sustain it any longer.

Kamala Harris is set to end the political dynasty founded by the Clintons that has controlled the Democratic Party’s presidency for thirty years, and it will happen for one simple reason: she will not win the election. Joe Biden‘s vice president is the last scion of the neoliberal sect within the Democratic Party, the Clinton magic circle composed of politicians, bureaucrats, and advisors. As Jeffrey Sachs recently admitted, after September 11, this group enthusiastically embraced the neo-imperialist agenda of Bush and Cheney’s neo-cons, which aimed to reassert American supremacy in the world, even using wars if necessary.
More than the octogenarian Joe Biden or the athletic Obama, Kamala Harris, who has remained in the president’s shadow for four years and spoken little in public, is an integral part of the Clintonian tapestry, the wallpaper that has adorned the halls of American power since the fall of the Berlin Wall. A loyal follower of the Clinton couple, who, along with Nancy Pelosi, promoted her, Kamala views the world through Bill Clinton’s lens of globalization and America through the magnifying glass of the wild outsourcing promoted by his administration during his eight-year presidency. This America is essentially capitalist, elitist, and white, where inequalities have reached Third World proportions. It is a different America from that of the 1980s, reduced to a theater for the rich and super-rich managed by the Clinton sect, the true puppeteers. Incorporating figures like Kamala Harris and Barack Obama into the script served to confuse the public and hide the true goal of American politics: the supremacy of American capital worldwide.
In this America, 1% of the population has absorbed most of the wealth generated by globalization and outsourcing. The arms and military industries have returned to the center of politics thanks to the proliferation of conflicts promoted by the White House. The working class has lost its jobs and is mired in the opioid crisis. The middle class has sunk into poverty. Racial violence has resurfaced, and prisons are filled primarily with Black inmates.
Ironically, in 2020, Kamala Harris slipped on the racial banana peel, a tumble that knocked her out of the White House race. Another non-white female candidate, Hawaiian Tulsi Gabbard, challenged Harris’s ‘impeccable’ professional reputation as district attorney of California during public debates: 1,500 people imprisoned for marijuana use (Harris laughed heartily when asked on TV if she had ever smoked a joint); withholding evidence of an inmate’s innocence on death row, only released after a court order; delaying the release of inmates, many of them Black, beyond their sentences to exploit them as cheap labor for the state of California; maintaining the cash bail system that penalizes the poor, primarily Black, compared to the rich.
Kamala Harris will not win the election because, as Gabbard pointed out (she is no longer part of the Democratic Party), she belongs to an old, corrupt, and obsolete system, that now crumbling wallpaper. Since the early 1990s, the Clintonian sect has been behind all Democratic presidencies, including that of the senile and ill Joe Biden, a puppet like Harris. Here is the answer to the question many are asking, “Who has governed America in the last four years?” The billions from Hollywood and Soros will not be enough to hide this reality, nor to prolong the desecration of true democracy, much less convince the electorate to vote for a warlike and elitist candidate: the Pandora’s box has broken. Americans have sensed these things for a long time, while Europeans and the rest of the world are slow to catch up.
The world of the 1990s, which gave birth to the rogue economy, is thus coming to an end. Finally! We do not know what lies around the corner; could it get worse? No one can say. But one thing is certain: the poisonous fruits of capital’s geographic race toward ever-lower labor costs, and those of the reconstitution of American hegemony in the world, have begun to rot on the tree and risk contaminating even this one. Trump understood this truth long ago and used it to get elected in 2016 – in his inaugural speech of 2016, he specifically spoke about the end of the slaughter of the American working class.
If elected, Kamala Harris will do what old Biden did: promote the rogue economy and imperialist foreign policy – as Gabbard asserts. And the world will pay the consequences. Her foreign policy mistakes will add to the disintegration of Libya, the opening to the Taliban, the civil wars in Syria and the abandonment of civilians (Obama administration), the withdrawal from Afghanistan and the tragedy of civilians left to the Taliban, the war in Ukraine and support for Israel in the invasion and massacre of Gaza (Biden administration), a bloody path initially designed by warmonger Dick Cheney in Iraq and turned into a web of paths by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her followers.
The mainstream press does not remind us of these things; perhaps it does not even know them? The mainstream press praises American puppets and the famous faces who act with them and does not notice that the trail of blood they leave behind with each step is visible.
The celebration of Kamala Harris and the career of Joe Biden filling our news and newspapers is a gigantic farce; it is time to open our eyes and stop supporting candidates simply because they are women, non-white men, or opponents of Donald Trump. True equality, like true democracy, is colorblind and does not distinguish gender; it is based on facts, and today these tell us that the nation was more peaceful, freer, more democratic – and inequalities were less – at the end of the 1980s than today.
