The violence in Gaza is rooted in a long-standing process of dehumanizing Palestinians, where ideological indoctrination turns them into obstacles to be eliminated. This mindset, deeply embedded in past regimes that manipulated youth, leads to blind obedience and the perpetration of atrocities. Zionism, like other oppressive ideologies, will eventually collapse as global awareness of the Palestinian tragedy grows, revealing the true nature of the conflict and shattering decades of propaganda.

To succeed in exterminating women and children, you must first stop considering them as human beings like yourself; you must dehumanize them. This process begins long ago, when from a young age, fear and hatred towards the ruthless enemy are instilled in you. Initially within the family and later in society, a daily indoctrination, both religious and political, continues year after year. Until you absorb the ideological dictates, and Palestinians become mere fodder, obstacles to be removed at any cost to conquer the Promised Land. A constant brainwashing so that as an adult, you don’t question anything and simply obey. The root of every ideology and thus of every regime lies in the mind. This was well understood by the dictatorships of the last century, which created youth groups to mold the next generations. When it all collapsed, many were genuinely shocked and looked around in disbelief. History repeats itself. It’s hard to accept, but many young soldiers involved in the atrocities in Gaza aren’t necessarily evil; they, too, are victims of human madness, where an ideology, an opinion, is falsely presented as absolute truth and violently imposed on those who think differently.
It’s hard to accept, but they are also victims of perverse logic, where ideological delusions are passed down through generations and translate into tragic orders from above. More than cruelty, their actions stem from unawareness and powerlessness. The horror in Gaza is such that many Israeli soldiers have suffered severe psychological trauma, and some have begun to admit to the war crimes committed and the blind brutality among the rubble of the strip. Their words reveal that to commit genocide, you must first dehumanize the enemy, just as you must to torture and rape them. And to establish an apartheid regime, you must first have internal walls and consider Palestinians inferior and deserving of discrimination. To violently claim someone else’s land, you must genuinely believe it belongs to you. This is a much deeper issue than mere politics.
Free people change their minds and think critically, while those brainwashed simply replicate the patterns they’ve been taught, without any remorse or doubt. The good news is that ideologies pass, and regimes collapse. It’s only a matter of time before Zionism, too, will fade. This will happen when reality sweeps away all mental manipulation and asserts itself over everything and everyone, as it did in the last century. Zionism, in the end, is just another colonial project of European inspiration that has bloodied the world. However, it is a project that is now outdated and clumsily attempted in a land too sensitive and alive to submit in silence. If it weren’t for Western weapons and money, Israel would already be a memory because it would have reaped what it has sown. But as the prophets of that land teach, no one escapes the consequences of their actions, and the genocide in Gaza increasingly appears to be the tragic beginning of a new era. The ruin of Zionism, like that of every ideology, is its stubborn arrogance. Despite decades of bloody crises, they insisted on an extremist annexation policy instead of opting for dialogue and a more democratic and inclusive approach, to the point where it may be too late to make amends. The dramatic events of these past months have shattered decades of global propaganda, showing the world the true nature of the Palestinian tragedy. More and more people are coming to their senses and looking around in shock. In the rocky hills of that cursed land as well as in the glass towers of the West. Politicians, soldiers, journalists, ordinary people. People who see among the rubble of Gaza the bodies of innocent women and children, torn apart by the ideological delusions of others. Nothing but human beings, victims of a horror that should never happen to anyone, for any reason in the world.
